Who the f*ck is Between Collective? Interviewing the producers of Bevy On Tour

Who the f*ck is Between Collective? Tell us about yourself
Ola, Between Collective is the creative agency in Lisbon, Portugal. Founded by Veronica and myself in 2021, we are ex-big-wig-agency employees and decided to tackle the world of self-employment (terrible idea btw, don’t do it). We specialise in solving problems, I’m skilled in coding and strategy, V in design and branding, and our team is a mix of producers, videographers, illustrators, journalists, content creators and more. We tackle every client brief like our own company and value quality over and beyond anything else. You can check out more on our website or follow us on Insta.
What are you most excited about?
Honestly, sending these guys to Mexico. I couldn’t imagine anything more epic than being in my 20s and having the chance to shoot this. I’ve had so many crazy adventures up until this point (and more to come, I’m sure), and the idea of paying it forward and providing a platform for these two, to experience this, brings nothing but excitement.
PS. I’m not excited about all the admin, visas, post-production edits and late-night sessions, but the final product will all be worth it.
Why Bevy and Mexico?
Bevy just screamed to me; “that brand is fucking cool and this idea is dope”. After meeting Luca over a coffee, it became clearer and clearer to me that he was dead serious about this, had the plan and the drive to make this happen and I knew that we could help make this reality and elevate the idea to a new level.
The icing on the cake was that Tequila is one of my all-time favourite spirits. Not in the take-a-shot-to-get-the-people-going vibe. But the; this-is-actually-amazing-how-did-they-make-it vibe? So personally, I’m fascinated about what will come from their adventures.
If you could be a cocktail, which one would it be and why?
A bloody mary, but one made with Tequila and a piece of pork crackling instead of celery. And so much tabasco you can begin to taste colours.
Great for planes, hangovers, brunches and session starters. Always ready to go and an acquired taste not made for everyone ;)
Why are you doing this?
It all started when I found a hip-hop event (that was cancelled) and was introduced to the Bevy brand. I slid into Luca’s DMs as he was raising funds on Indigogo to run this documentary series and asked if he’d be interested in doing this as a joint partnership.
The rest is history.
The opportunity to shoot a documentary and flex our creative chops is something I couldn’t resist. We hope this can grow exponentially into a long-lasting project with multiple tours per year and become a pillar brand in the drinks industry.
Lastly, I’m still awaiting that hip-hop event, so at least this way I know I’ll get my name on the door.
Any last words?
Good luck… and don’t fuck it up.
